You know the drill by now, drink, graff and wobbles, all thrown into the most eclectic atmosphere you'll find in Bournemouth.

We're now entering the third round of the 2011 home tournament, and up next are two of Bournemouth's heavyweights. Steve began his career painting the streets of Bourne but left a few years ago to help direct creativity for Nokia. Mr Benson graduated from Bournemouth in 2008 and currently still works here illustrating alongside his Quick On The Draw crew.

Both artists will undoubtedly bring a good fight on the 12th and who will win is anyones guess.

Round 2- Shakeone vs Luke Trimmings

June 10th saw the second round of Bournemouth's home tournament and each warrior bought two very unique slants to the battle element. The venue filled out almost instantaneously and as the two backroom crews (Faux Life and Paper Jukebox) added the final touches to their 30ft mural, you could almost taste the anticipation. Shakeone and Luke Trimmings made their way to the stage just as Shamanic Technology began sonic booming pure awesomeness, and the battle was underway. 90 minutes in and two very different pieces stood on stage, from Shake we saw a 'reduced trimmings' butcher serving up some entrails, and from Luke we saw more of a scare tactic, illustrating a humongous shark destroying Shake's marker. Both artists smashed the walls but it was time for a winner. with 1 point each from the judges everything was down to the crowd roar. Shake measured an impressive 108 on the decibel reader, but the trimmings supporters reared their voiceboxes scoring Luke an impressive 113. The score was in, 2:1 to Trimmings which puts him through to the semi finals with Robin Clark. An epic night, and a huge thank you to everyone involved.
